About Feather de la Mata

My name is Feather de la Mata. I graduated from West Virginia University with a BA in Biology and then went to New York University to get a M.Ed in Science Education. I have a passion for urban education and was the founding science teacher for a College Board School in the Bronx, Eximius College Preparatory Academy. After moving to Maryland, I was given the amazing opportunity to work with The University of Southern California's online Master of Arts in Teaching program. So now, instead of working in the classroom I help others achieve the dream of becoming a child's hero.
