- Teachers Without Borders (TWB) is a non-profit organization that supports teacher leaders, worldwide, with professional development opportunities in order that they may play a more vital role in their communities. TWB's core programs include its online Toolset, Certificate of Teaching Mastery, emergency education, Community Teaching and Learning Centers, and commitment to sharing and creating free and open content for teachers. The Toolset is a free online platform that allows teachers to connect, create, and collaborate; the Certificate of Teaching Mastery is a five-course, self-paced, professional development program leading to a recognized certificate and an online portfolio; emergency education programs prepare communities through science instruction; Community Teaching and Learning Centers are local gathering places for community education.
